Who is it for?

The HR Freelancers Business Club is for HR Professionals who are at the start of building their businesses and also for more established HR Freelancers and Independent Consultants who are looking to re-boot their business building strategy, find a new approach or who want access to advice and support for any reason.

The HR Freelancers Business Club has been a goal of mine for the past few years.

It makes real sense to me to offer these services on a subscription basis – that is how we access so much of what we want now – cars, phones, music services, film services, even things like stationery and make up can be bought on a subscription basis.

The HR Freelancers Business Club will give you access to training, mentoring, advice and support in the skills you need to have to find clients and make money doing work you really enjoy with clients you love to work with.

Access that you can continue to have for as long as you decide you want it – there is no minimum tie in period and no minimum contract. Stay as long as you want to and leave whenever you choose – no questions asked.

When I started working as a HR Freelancer in 2012 I very quickly realised that my HR skills and experience – good as it was – were not actually all that much use to me when it came to actually finding clients.

I spent a long time spinning in circles trying to figure out how to achieve that.

I learned how to use Twitter, I drank a lot of coffee, I sat through quite a few Network marketing pitches, I googled everything I could think of, I got very used to seeing people mentally switching off when I told them what I did – it was like some big secret that other people knew but I was really struggling with.

So I understand how it feels to know that you have a useful and valuable skill, to know that there must be people who need it but to feel like it’s just never going to happen for you.

There’s a reason why a lot of people give up on their dreams of working for themselves within a year of starting. They can’t figure out what is going to work for them, they get exhausted with trying a million different things and putting a brave face on a failing business.

They decide they are just not cut out for it, the money runs out, they get disillusioned and they get a job – temporarily – and they never go back.

It’s vital to be able to get access to the right advice, support and information but it’s often just so expensive.

So you tell yourself you will do it when the business is bringing in more money – even though you know that you need the help in order to get the business to bring in more money – so nothing actually changes.

The HR Freelancers Business Club is here to provide a new route into training and mentoring for new and established HR Professionals.

It is subscription based so you pay an affordable monthly amount for as long as you want to access the training and support available. Whenever you decide you don’t want to carry on then you just cancel your subscription – there is no contract and no tie-in.

FAQ’s

Q – Can join if I’m not a HR Freelancer?

A – The Business Club is for HR Professionals who are (or who are intending) to provide services on an independent basis – so whether this is as a Freelancer, an Independent Consultant, a Coach, a trainer or anything else related to the management and development of people in the workplace then the Business Club can support you in doing that.

Q – Can I join if I haven’t started my business yet

A – Yes – we have a number of subscribers already in the Business Club who have not yet started their business. It will work best if you are already committed to the idea of starting rather than still considering it.

Q – Is the Business Club just for new HR Freelancers?

A – No. It is for HR Professionals who haven’t started yet, new HR Freelancers and also established HR Freelancers who are looking for a business re-boot and access to ongoing training, advice and support.

Q – Does it matter if I can’t make the live training events?

A – No. In the first 6 months of the Business Club there will be a lot of live training available as we build up the initial content but it’s not necessary to attend them live. They will all be available on replay in the club on an ongoing basis.

Q – What will the cost be if I decide to join later?

A – The initial monthly charge for the Business Club is £45.00 a month. There are no definite decisions on future monthly fees but but it will never be offered at a price of less than £45.00 per month.

Q – If I join now will the price go up for me later?

A – The price to subscribe to The Business Club is likely to increase over time but the price you join at will always be the price you pay as long as you continuously remain a member. If you decide to leave and re-join at a later date then you will need to join at whatever the current rate is.

Q – Can I pay annually?

A – No there is no annual payment option

Q – What happens if I decide I don’t want to continue with my subscription?

A – The Business Club is designed to be a no tie-in option for you. You can leave at any time, no questions asked, by cancelling your PayPal subscription and emailing me to let me know. Please note that there are no partial month refunds so your membership will continue to be active until the end of the current payment month but you will not be charged again.

Q – Other than the monthly subscription fee are there any other charges?

A – No – everything is included in your monthly subscription
